The Clarion-Ledgerand Gannett Foundation are contributing a $10,000 grant to assist the American Red Cross in its tornado-relief efforts in Clinton and other communities that suffered from damaging storm systems that hit Mississippi in less than a week.

“We are happy to provide support in a very meaningful way,” said Clarion-Ledger President and Publisher Leslie Hurst. “We know that our neighbors in Clinton have suffered deep anguish and loss, and we hope this grant helps in some small way.”
